It's literally been a quarter of a century that multi-talented Twin Sisters, writers, vocalists, and composers, Ralonda Charniece, and Rashonda Darniece, have been in the independent Nashville, Tennessee music and arts scene. They are 1999 graduates of the historical HBCU, and now 2023 Grammy award winning college, Tennessee State University, with degrees in Business Administration with Management. They began to create, establish, and write their musical journey as performing artists in 1999.  In 2000, they collectively built, managed, formed, and administered themselves as official independent performing artists.  After a second name change, Ralonda Charniece and Rashonda Darniece became Radiance. Over the years, they have written and recorded 5 independent music projects, a street release called, "How Many Times?," "Dance With Radiance," "The Beautiful One," "FLY," and "Changed To Reign."  They have had a chance to sing "The Star Spangled Banner" for the Nashville Sounds Baseball Game and The Nashville Rhythm American Basketball Association, rocked stages multiple times for Atlanta's Sweet Auburn Springfest, embraced stages such as the Bellsouth Acuff Theater and the Grand Ole Opry for a backup dance performance of the 2011 Stellar Awards, and television performances in ABC's and Country Music Television's drama television series, "Nashville," music videos, cafes, coffee houses, and clubs, just to name a few.  Radiance was 2009 and 2012 Nashville Independent Music Awards Nominees for Best Group, Best Album for The Beautiful One, and Best R&B/Hip Hop Group.  They have also written a book about their journey in the arts called “Pure Gold.” Most notably, in 2018, they had the opportunity to go to South Africa, and sing in Soweto, Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa, and dance in the streets of London, England, United Kingdom for the “Nelson Mandela 100 Years” celebration.
