It all began at age 6 in a dance opening for a Greek show at historical Fisk University for the Sub Debs, a high school sorority in Nashville, Tennessee. The pursuit for a life-long dream in the arts started and never stopped. They continued dancing in their youth as half-timers (dancers who dance at the halftime of basketball games) as well as being a part of a six female dance group called "Six of Hearts." They got a chance to do a local television commercial and later in July 1990 attended New York for a talent event in which the National Urban League sponsored. While in New York they attended the famous, "Apollo Theater" and stayed at New York's Columbia University. At the age of 10, they became instrumentalists, learning music theory and how to read musical scales. They continued playing instruments in concert and marching bands. During youth, they were active as Tennessee Twirlers, runners, dancers, in concerts, choirs, praise teams, prayer ministry, dance ministry, oration, and writing.
